The Annual Winter championships for Netball, Football and Rugby were held at Ngahinapouri Wednesday 20th June 2018.

Children were met with a bitter cold windy day, but that didn’t stop them. They went out and played with everything they had. All students showed our values on the day.

A huge thank you to all those coaches, parents and supporters who supported Ōhaupō Students at/to the Winter Championship Day at Ngahinapouri School last Wednesday. We had over 90 students participating in the three codes of rugby, football and netball. 2018 was the year for Ōhaupō football teams to shine, with all three of our football teams reaching the finals. Our rugby and netball results were varied and all players had a great day in very cold conditions. Thanks to all the people who assisted with transport, organised uniforms, mouth guards etc. and gave their time to prepare our teams for the competition. We would be unable to patriciate in these competitions without your support. It’s reassuring to know that volunteer help is still alive and well in our community.
